Our little piece of paradise, with the beach and surf at your footstep and situated in town this is where you want to stay when you come to Mount Maunganui!

Located in the the main street, our newly renovated backpackers is small, clean and friendly! We only have 27 beds so it is easy to meet like minded international travellers who are looking to kick back and relax or hit the beach and surf. 

 Come and relax in our friendly internet cafe, or if outdoors is more your style, look no further! Mount Backpackers can book swimming with Dolphin tours, learn to Surf packages, White Water Rafting, Sky Diving, night Glow worm kayaking, beach Horse trekking and plenty more!

Or if you are running short of cash and looking for work over summer local employers contact us first for workers. Winter work can also be arranged, fruit picking starts in April and runs into September.
